Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing that matters. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does be part of how you think about it.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.
