Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
