What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, here withdrawals, more info pricing, here and the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
